Meet The Chef
Chef Jennifer Simpson, The Gastronomicdiva is here to answer your what’s for dinner question.
She is a bay area native and has lived in San Francisco for over 25 years. She is a regular at the ferry plaza farmer’s market where she sources most of her ingredients from.
As a graduate of the California Culinary Academy (Le Cordon Bleu) in San Francisco, Chef Jennifer was the San Francisco Chronicle’s first wine intern. She was also a wine buyer for Whole Foods Market then sold boutique wines like Ridge, Bonny Doon and a few other boutique wineries.
After a trip to Balii to see a cacao plantation and production she was later inspired to create a sugar free/dairy free truffle line. Chef Jennifer can be seen driving around San Francisco on her Vespa while she ponders her culinary creations.
